MIRRI-ERIC Voices Webinar Ep. 2: Plant-associated Bacteria, from isolated strains to microbiota

MIRRI-ERIC is pleased to invite you to the second episode of the webinar series "MIRRI-ERIC Voices", which will be focused on The French Collection for Plant-associated Bacteria (CIRM-CFBP), from isolated strains to microbiota.

"MIRRI-ERIC Voices" gives the stage to MIRRI-ERIC’s Partners to present their work, achievements, and innovations in the microbial world. Each episode features one MIRRI-ERIC partner’s chosen theme, offering insight into its unique contributions to the Consortium and to the European research landscape and promoting knowledge exchange across the MIRRI-ERIC network and the field of culture collection.

The second episode of "MIRRI-ERIC Voices" will be hosted by the French Node of MIRRI-ERIC, featuring a one-hour presentation and Q&A delivered by Perrine Portier, curator of the French Collection for Plant-associated Bacteria (CIRM-CFBP).

The collection holds strategic resources for plant health, and its members are specialists in the diversity and taxonomy of these bacteria. For a few years now, the collection has been evolving toward the challenges posed by the microbiota in agronomy and developing new ways to preserve them and make them available for the scientific community.

Date: 11 February 2026
