SUPPORT AND EXPERT GROUPS

Support and Expert Groups advise the Executive Director and NCF on emerging trends in microbial research, required microbial resources, and strategic service evolution. MIRRI-ERIC’s scientific operations are organised through two complementary types of groups:

Support Groups

Support groups are transversal to different MIRRI-ERIC areas of action and provide horizontal expertise, tools, and harmonised practices across all MIRRI-ERIC activities and nodes.

Expert Groups

Expert groups are divided into thematic areas that address specific scientific and societal challenges, identify emerging needs, and stimulate innovation, service development, and project generation.
