Elected new Chair and Vice-chairs of MIRRI-ERIC Assembly of Members

Michel-Yves Mistou, from MIRRI France, has been elected Chair of the MIRRI-ERIC Assembly of Members (AoM).

MIRRI-ERIC warmly acknowledges Marleen Bosschaerts, from MIRRI Belgium, for her leadership and meaningful impact on the organisation as Chair of the AoM, a position that she took for the last two years and that she is now leaving. Through her dedication, Marleen has been instrumental in maintaining continuity during important stages of MIRRI-ERIC, and we look forward to working with her going forward.

MIRRI-ERIC also congratulates Michel-Yves Mistou on his election and thanks him for taking over the Chair of the AoM role. In addition, MIRRI-ERIC acknowledges Adil Ennaji, from MIRRI Belgium, and Paula Morais, from MIRRI Portugal, for their election as Vice-Chairs of this Governance body.

The Assembly of Members (AoM) serves as the principal decision-making body, composed of delegates from each Member country. It determines MIRRI-ERIC’s strategy, governance, and development as a research infrastructure. Each Member has one vote, and decisions are typically made by a two-thirds majority.
