Cristina Varese elected Vice-chair of MIRRI-ERIC NCF

Cristina Varese, Node Coordinator of MIRRI Italy, has been elected Vice-chair of the MIRRI-ERIC National Coordinators Forum (NCF).
MIRRI-ERIC warmly acknowledges Rosa Aznar, Node Coordinator of MIRRI Spain, for her long-standing dedication and valuable contribution to the organisation as Vice-chair of the NCF, a position that she is now leaving. Rosa has been involved in this Governance body since its creation in 2020 as the Interim National Coordinators Forum (INCF). She was back then Chair of the INCF and assumed the role of Vice-chair of the NCF when MIRRI-ERIC entered its operational phase.
Rosa Aznar’s commitment has been instrumental in supporting continuity during important phases of MIRRI-ERIC, and we look forward to continuing working with her.
MIRRI-ERIC would also like to thank Cristina Varese for accepting the role of Vice-Chair of the NCF, and for her availability and commitment to support its ongoing work and looks forward to working with her, boosted by her enthusiasm and expertise.
In addition, MIRRI-ERIC acknowledges Jean-Luc Legras, Node Coordinator of MIRRI France, who will continue his mandate as Vice-chair of the NCF, contributing to stability and continuity within this Governance body.
The National Coordinators Forum (NCF) is chaired by the Executive Director and gathers the National Coordinator of each Member and Observer, plus up to two national experts. The NCF supports the Executive Director in scientific, technical and strategic matters of MIRRI-ERIC, like the annual Work Programme and five-year work plan, and ensures the bidirectional communication between MIRRI-ERIC and its Partners.
