MIRRI-ERIC Voices. New webinar series highlights Nodes and starts in 2026

MIRRI-ERIC is pleased to announce the launch of a new webinar series that will start at the beginning of the new year, 2026. The new project is called "MIRRI-ERIC Voices" and is designed to give the stage to MIRRI-ERIC partners, showcasing their work, achievements, and innovations in the microbial world.

Each episode of "MIRRI-ERIC Voices" will focus on a theme chosen by one MIRRI-ERIC partner, offering insight into their unique contributions to the consortium and to the European research landscape. The series, which will be hosted once a month by each of the MIRRI-ERIC Nodes, aims to promote knowledge exchange across the MIRRI-ERIC network and the wider culture collection community.

MIRRI-ERIC is constituted, at the moment, by seven Members, Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, and Spain, and one Observer, Romania. Each functions as a National Node, with an appointed National Coordinator, that ensures the partners located on the Member's territory provide access, within the applicable legal and ethical framework, to MIRRI-ERIC. Now, they will have a new place to be in focus.

The first episode of "MIRRI-ERIC Voices" will already take place on 21 January 2026, at 15.00h (CET). Further details, including the featured partner and webinar programme, will be shared soon.

MIRRI-ERIC wishes to invite everyone on its network to follow this new initiative, as well as those further interested in the microbial field. Stay tuned and follow us on LinkedIn to be on track with every episode.

As this one, MIRRI-ERIC aims to launch other new activities in the new year. Join us in exploring the diversity and impact of microbial resources across Europe!
