MIRRI-ERIC to attend the ERIC Forum Annual Meeting 2025 in Brussels
2025, Nov 5
MIRRI-ERIC will attend the ERIC Forum Annual Meeting 2025, scheduled for 12 and 13 November 2025 at the Club University Foundation, in Brussels (BE). This annual event brings together ERICs, policymakers, and partners from across Europe to share insights, discuss strategic priorities, and advance the Forum’s objectives.
The meeting provides a unique platform for European Research Infrastructure Consortia (ERICs) to reflect on current and future priorities, engage in meaningful dialogue with key stakeholders, and strengthen collaboration within the European research landscape. Over two days, participants will take part in discussions on key strategic and policy developments that shape the ERIC ecosystem and influence the future of research infrastructures across Europe.
The Executive Director of MIRRI-ERIC, Ana Portugal Melo, will have an active role on this event, participating in the ERIC Forum Panel Discussion with Political Stakeholders, entitled "Key topics for RIs in FP10 following the proposition of the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF)".
A particularly significant aspect of this year’s meeting will be the election of the new Chair and Vice-Chair of the ERIC Forum, who will lead the Forum’s activities and strategic agenda for the next term. Their leadership will play a crucial role in guiding discussions and decisions on the future direction of ERICs in Europe.
By participating in the ERIC Forum Annual Meeting, MIRRI-ERIC demonstrates its commitment to fostering collaboration, contributing to policy dialogue, and actively engaging in discussions that impact the European research infrastructure community. Attendance at this event is also an opportunity to connect with other ERICs and partners, share experiences, and identify potential synergies that can advance research and innovation in the life sciences and biotechnology fields.
The full programme for the event is available here.
MIRRI-ERIC looks forward to actively contributing to this important meeting and continuing its work in strengthening the European research infrastructure ecosystem for the benefit of science and society.
